GOD’S PROPHETIC SEVENS

A Note Of Encouragement

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8).

This study of the prophetic sevens in the Bible proves the promise of God's return for His beloved creation. My wish is for you to be awed as you read this study as I have been during this research project.

This study will help you understand how much there is to learn and search out in the Bible. Keep searching and studying until we meet Him in the clouds. Praise God every day for His love and the secrets to discover in the Bible.

Ephesians 3:16-19 tells us we are strengthened with might by His Spirit which dwells in the inner man. We are told Christ will dwell in our hearts by faith if we are rooted and grounded in the love of Jesus Christ. We will begin to comprehend the breadth, length, depth and height of the love of Christ which passes knowledge. What a promise! Romans 9 says death, life, angels, principalities, powers, things present, things to come, height, depth or any other creature won't be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As you read this study you will have a better understanding of God's power and guidance over our lives. You will be able to put together puzzle pieces from the beginning of time through ending events.

The clock is rapidly moving toward the Great Tribulation. Current events in the world let us know He is knocking at the door. After Christ's millennial reign during the seventh millennium the eight comes along and gives us the promise of a new beginning. Oh, how He takes care of His own!

His wrath is coming to the world very soon but we are going to be safe in His care. My prayer is for each of you to be comforted knowing He will take care of His people.

Chapter One
Number One

Revelation 1:8 says: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Verse 18 says: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of one equals one. The definition for Aleph is: One and Only; the Eternal; the Omnipotent God (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 119).

On the first day of creation (Genesis 1:2-5) God divided the light from the darkness. This separated good and evil. When we are changed in the twinkling of an eye we will see this light (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). The only light in heaven is the light that comes from God the Father and God the Son, Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:5). This light has always been with God (Job 38:19, Psalm 27:1, Psalm 36:9, Psalm 37:6, Psalm 43:3, Psalm 97:11, Psalm 112:4, Isaiah 2:5, Isaiah 8:20, Isaiah 9:2, Daniel 5:14, John 8:12, John 12:35-36, John 12:46, Acts 9:3, Acts 22:6, Romans 13:12, Ephesians 5:8, James 1:17, 1 Peter 2:9, 1 John 1:5, Revelation 21:23-24, Revelation 22:5).

The first covenant, the Edenic Covenant (Genesis 2:16-17) was God's promise of everything good and perfect. Adam and Eve daily walked and talked with God in the garden (Genesis 3:8). The blessings of the Edenic Covenant were communion with God face to face, dominion over everything in the garden, take care of the garden, to multiply, have precious metals and gems, and trees providing sustenance (Genesis 2).

The first edition of Divine law was written on nature (Psalm 19:1). In the garden everything was perfect. There is always a qualification to everything we have that is good and for Adam and Eve it was to not eat of the tree in the middle of the garden, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Evidently this was Satan's hang-out in the garden. He was waiting for the perfect moment to destroy the harmony in the garden. Spiritual rest lasted a short time in the garden. Matthew 11:28 says we are to go to God with our problems and He will give us rest. Satan succeeded triumphantly but it also made it possible for God to bring his creation to the earth which was Satan's domain (Revelation 2:13). Adam and Eve did not commit the first sin; Lucifer committed the first sin. Therefore God was in control of what would happen on the earth so the outcome was fair and concise. Satan no longer had a habitation to solely control. God could set His plan into action to completely destroy sin.

The first millennium represents the separation of good and evil. The perfect beginning in the garden of Eden ended with the exit into the harsh world outside the garden with evil forces working to control mankind. Satan had two options delivered from God which he has stayed in pursuit of throughout history. God said if the depths of the earth could be explored and the heavens above measured Israel would be destroyed as a nation never to be again (Jeremiah 31:35-37, 33:22-26). If Israel ceased to be a nation then Satan would be in control. Satan has been working diligently on this challenge. The Hubble Telescope is constantly finding new galaxies and we are learning more about the universe every day. Data is made every day from the ocean floor revealing new undiscovered scientific information. Man has not discovered the ends of the universe or the inner parts of the earth. God has and will always protect His chosen people. He has given them many promises of remaining His people. Nothing will separate Israel from God (Psalm 148:14, Isaiah 54, Isaiah 55).

The first world government ( Babylon - 626 BC) was the head of gold in Daniel's vision of the image. It represents times of plenty and great wealth (Daniel 2:38). The first millennium was a time of riches. Genesis 2:11-12 says the gold of Havilah is good. Webster's Dictionary defines gold as: something valued as the finest of its kind.

The first of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do... (Luke 23:34). Adam and Eve were part of the plan for God to defeat Satan. Genesis introduces the progressive plan for the human race to be saved through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Genesis tells the story of creation, man's fall and redemption through the cross. In the garden Satan told Adam and Eve their eyes would be opened and they would be as gods, knowing good and evil. They ate the forbidden fruit but were never able to save themselves proving they did not become gods. People today think they are or want to be gods. Even today Satan is still convincing people they are more than mere humans. We have only one chance for the correct choice of whom to listen to or we will face the second everlasting death. God had to allow the fall of Adam and Eve to save heaven and earth.

The first church (33 AD to 100 AD) of the seven churches was Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7). God knew their labor, patience and how they couldn’t bear evil. They had been very close to God and the thought of evil was very difficult to perceive. He reminded them not to backslide or He would come and remove their candlestick (light) out of its place.

Chapter Two
Number Two

Revelation 2 tells of Jesus telling the first four of the seven churches to follow good, stay strong and stay away from idol worship. He told them there would be rewards for following Him and penalties for following evil. Verse 17 says: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. The hidden manna is the secrets for us to discover in the Bible (Romans 16:25, 1 Corinthians 2:7, Ephesians 1:9, Ephesians 3:9, Colossians 1:26, 1 Timothy 3:9, Revelation 10:7). Some secrets we won't know until He reveals them to us in heaven, however, there are many secrets to discover through diligent Bible study.

Beit is the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of two equals two. The definition for Beit is: letter of duality; good verses evil; right versus wrong; curse of disobedience that accompanies the blessing of obedience (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 121).

On the second day of creation (Genesis 1:6-8) God created the firmament (sky or heavens) and divided the waters from the waters. He divided the waters which were under and above the firmament. The water above the firmament is the frozen water in space called the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from the harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun. The waters beneath the firmament covered the face of the earth.

The second covenant, the Adamic Covenant (Genesis 3:15) reads: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. It is the first in a chain of texts prophesying the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This text describes the battle of good and evil. It tells us Jesus will be triumphant over Satan and sin will one day be abolished forever. The Bible describes the story in our sky (the Zodiac) with the placement of the constellations giving the information on the story of redemption from Virgo the virgin to Leo the lion. The real meaning of the Zodiac is absolutely fascinating and it comes to us through the pages of the Bible. Because the serpent caused man to fall, God cursed the serpent above all cattle, every beast of the field and made it to crawl upon the ground and eat the dust of the earth all the days of its life (Genesis 3:14). God told Adam and Eve what they would face in the future. Their life would be very different from the garden of Eden. Eve would suffer pain with child bearing, her husband would rule over her, she would have much sorrow in her life (Genesis 3:16). In the sweat of his face Adam would till the cursed ground full of thorns and thistles to plant seeds for his food (Genesis 3:17-19). God told them they would return to the dust from which they were formed (Genesis 3:19). God promised a future redemption for man through Jesus Christ.

The second edition of Divine law was conscience (Romans 2:15). Genesis 3:7 says: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Adam and Eve now knew the difference between good and evil. God wanted man to follow his conscience and reject evil. Matthew 16:19 refreshes our memory with facts and truths driving home the fact that heaven has been in turmoil since the fall of man. Verse 19 says simply and plainly that whatever happens here happens in heaven. Humanity failed miserably in following God and doing only good. Genesis 6:5 tells us that man's every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually. Verse 6 says God was grieved that He had created man. God decided to destroy His creation from the face of the earth, both man and beast and the creeping things and the fowls of the air (Genesis 6:7).

The second millennium represents the flood waters covering the earth and destroying everything that was not in the ark with Noah. Noah built the ark to God's specifications. The human race was given a second chance to follow God. The waters had been divided from the firmament on the second day of creation. Gravity kept the water on the surface of the earth during the flood. Noah was in the ark for seven days before it started to rain. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life (Genesis 7:15). The ark was the salvation of man with the breath of God in it to keep them alive. Noah was to assist God by caring for the animals and God's chosen people on board the ark.

The second world government (Medo-Persia - 539 BC) was the chest of silver in Daniel's vision of the image. It represents a time of plenty and wealth only second to the golden era (Daniel 2:32). The second millennium was a time of plenty and people had whatever worldly lures they desired. Webster's Dictionary defines silver as: a white metallic element. Webster's Dictionary says achievements in the silver age were only second to that of the golden age.

The second of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43).

The second church (100 AD to 312 AD) of the seven churches was Smyrna (Revelation 2:8-11). God said: I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life (Revelation 2:9-10). This church was having a difficult struggle with good and evil. Evil was rapidly liquidating the members of this church. God promised them a crown of life for their faithfulness.

Chapter Three
Number Three

Revelation 3 is the message to the last three of the seven churches. Sardis and Philadelphia tried to remain strong and follow Christ. In verse 8 Philadelphia was told: I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Laodicea was told they needed to be tried in the fire because they thought they had everything and had no need of God in their lives. Verse 16 explains: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Verse 20 says: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Gimel is the third letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of three equals three. The definition for Gimel is: kindness; culmination; goodness; nurture until completely ripe (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 123).

On the third day of creation (Genesis 1:9-13) God gathered the waters together in one place. He made the dry land appear and He called the dry land Earth. He created grass, herb yielding seed, herbs and vegetables, fruit trees yielding fruit.

The third covenant, the Noahic Covenant (Genesis 9:1-17) gave man laws to govern the earth requiring protection for everyone; promised never to destroy every living creature with a flood again; the animals would be meat for man so God instilled the fear of man in the animals. God sealed the covenant with the promise of never destroying life again by setting a rainbow in the clouds as a reminder of His covenant between Him and the earth (Genesis 9:13).

The third edition of Divine law was written on tables of stone (Exodus 24:12). After the flood, Noah's family was commanded to repopulate the earth. A government was formed to protect the people so they could live peacefully. God wanted this family to be prepared for spiritual warfare. He wants us all to have the shield of faith, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation praying earnestly for perseverance and supplication (Ephesians 6:13-18). Luke 10:19 comforts us knowing we have complete power over the enemy and NOTHING will hurt us. What an awesome promise! Our having faith beyond a shadow of a doubt is our DUTY as soldiers for Jesus. We need to have a close relationship with Jesus to obtain this faith. We need to have the faith of a child to obtain His power. Verse 20 says not to rejoice because we have power over the evil spirits but rejoice because our names are written in heaven. What an awesome promise.

The third millennium represents all the good things for man to enjoy. The gardens, orchards, trees, lawns and shrubs were growing abundantly by this time. After the flood the world was lush and plentiful. We know while flood waters were receding the trees were in blossom and had leaves. The story of the dove returning with the olive leaf in her mouth means she couldn’t find a place to rest so she returned to the ark. She found plant life had returned which was an important discovery to Noah. God made everything come in season while the water was still covering it. The first time out she found no resting place, the second time out she found an olive leaf and took it back to Noah, the third time out she did not return. Noah soon left the ark to go to the place where she was residing. This is very much like the first time Christ came to earth finding no place for rest or acceptance from the people. The second time he comes He will take the Christians back to His Father in heaven. The third time He comes will be the millennial reign not returning to heaven. He will be here one thousand years guiding and instructing Israel and the nations of the world. This will be followed by the recreation of earth and heaven. Once the new earth and heaven is prepared the Father will come with the Holy City to be with the Son never to part again.

The third world government (Greece - 330 BC) was the belly of brass in Daniel's vision of the image. It represents a time of power and strength (Daniel 2:39). Brass is stronger than metal but of less value. After the death of Alexander this third world empire was divided into four divisions by his four generals. The third world power was known for its conquests. Webster's Dictionary defines brass as: an alloy consisting essentially of copper and zinc in variable proportions.

The third of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold they son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home (John 19:26-27).

The third church (312 AD to 606 AD) of the seven churches was Pergamos (Revelation 2:12-17). God praised them for their faithfulness and good works during a time of idol and satanic spiritual worship. In Revelation 2:16 God told them: Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Chapter Four
Number Four

Revelation 4:1 says: After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. In chapter four we see every creature in heaven worshiping God on His throne.

Dalet is the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of four equals four. The definition for Dalet is: the door; divinity (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 125).

On the fourth day of creation (Genesis 1:14-19) God made lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. The lights were to give light to the earth. These lights were for signs, seasons, days and years. There were two great lights; the greater to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night along with the stars. These lights were for dividing the light (day) from the darkness (night).

The fourth covenant, the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 15) was God's declaration to send a Messiah through the linage of Abraham. God promised Abraham his seed would be innumerable as the stars of heaven. In verse 13 He told Abram about Israel's slavery for four hundred years and their escape with great wealth.

The fourth edition of Divine law was Christ (John 1:14). John 4:14 says if we drink the water Christ gives us we will never thirst. His water springs up into everlasting life. The scriptures are full of promises for which our soul thirsts and hungers. We are to study and know His Word. If we eat the bread from heaven we shall live forever because the bread He gives is His flesh (John 6:51). Hebrews 5:14 says strong meat belongs to those who have spiritual maturity. This strong meat is understanding of the scriptures. Abraham was told to move to a land where God would make him a great nation. God said He would bless Abraham and his descendants who were to fulfill this promise. God told him He would bless those who blessed these people and curse those who cursed these people. God said all the families of the earth would be blessed through Abraham. Christ was born through this lineage to save heaven and earth.

The fourth millennium represents the promise of a Messiah being fulfilled. His name was Jesus Christ. He was born in a stable in Bethlehem at the end of the fourth millennium here on earth to the virgin Mary. His birth date is estimated to be around 4 B.C.

The fourth world government (Rome - 63 BC) was the legs of iron in Daniel's vision of the image. It represents strength (Daniel 2:33,40). This fourth empire was Rome. It split into two divisions with the western side being in Rome and the eastern side being in Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey). Rome ruled the world longer than the three preceding governments. Webster's Dictionary defines iron as: a heavy malleable ductile magnetic silver-white metallic element, great strength, hardness or determination.

The fourth of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? ( Matthew 27:46). In the fourth millennium the Romans were powerful and controlling. This was the age of the Papal apostasy.

The fourth church (606 AD to 1520 AD) of the seven churches was Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29). God commended them for their works, charity, service, faith and patience. He chastised them for allowing themselves to be slack in religious discipline. They followed the doctrines of the Nicolaitans who worshiped idols but God could not tolerate these actions of the people. He told them to repent and they would have power over the nations and rule them with a rod of iron. He said he would give the overcomer the morning star.

Chapter Five
Number Five

Revelation 5 starts out with the angel asking who can open the book and break the seals on it. Verses 9-12 have the answer: And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Hay is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of five equals five. The definition for Hay is: repentance and mercy; divine name of God and the redemption of His creation (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 127).

On the fifth day of creation (Genesis 1:20-23) God created the life in the seas and the fowl in the air. He blessed them telling them to multiply and fill the waters in the seas and the fowl to multiply in the earth. Remember that fish and fowl (dove) are symbols of Christianity.

The fifth covenant, the Mosaic Covenant (Exodus 19:4-6) was God's fulfillment of the promise to Abraham through the nation of Israel. Israel was God's chosen people and at this time they became a nation. God told them to keep the laws He gave them and they would be a peculiar treasure above all people on earth.

The fifth edition of Divine law was the scripture (Romans 15:4). When the law was given to Israel, they were rebellious and had a difficult time following the laws God had given them to implement structure into their lives. The people of Israel failed miserably following the God who planned their existence and future as a mighty and prosperous nation. God called Israel a peculiar treasure above all people. We now have the entire Bible to guide us through our lives. These scriptures teach about Jesus, teach morals, give comfort, give hope, teach patience, and most of all tell of our privilege to choose to have Jesus in our life with His tender, loving, mercy. Hebrews 12:1 tells us to run the race with patience that is set before us.

The fifth millennium represents Christianity starting in the world. Christ was crucified and returned to His Father. After Christ returned to His Father in Heaven, life became more and more unbearable for the Christians. The people tried very hard to follow God but they always had difficulties just as did Israel.

The fifth world government (now) is the feet of iron and clay in Daniel's vision of the image. We are now living in the historic age of the feet of iron and clay. Webster's Dictionary defines iron as: a heavy malleable ductile magnetic silver-white metallic element, great strength, hardness or determination. Webster's Dictionary defines clay as: an earthly material that is plastic when moist but hard when fired, that is composed mainly of fine particles of hydrous aluminum silicates and other minerals, mud. In 1948 NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was formed to protect Europe from a Russian invasion. The UN (United Nations) is a combined group of nations in agreement on political actions promoting a positive environment for the people of the world.

The fifth of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst (John 19:28).

The fifth church (1520 AD) of the seven churches was Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6). God told them to be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, and that He had not found their works perfect before God. He said for them to remember what they had learned and to hold onto that and repent. He told them if they were not watchful He would come on them as a thief and they would not know what hour He would come to them. He also told them there were a few who had not defiled their garments and they would walk with Him in raiment of white. He said those who followed Him would not have their names removed from the book of life and He would confess their names before His Father.

Chapter Six
Number Six

Revelation 6 is the message of Jesus Christ opening six of the seven seals of the scroll. Calamity strikes the earth as He opens one seal at a time. Verse 17 ends this chapter explaining: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? The great tribulation is now in fierce progress.

Vav is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of six equals six. The definition for Vav is: physical completion; redemption and transformation; a conjunction, it unites even opposing concepts; links words and phrases to form sentences (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 131).

On the sixth day of creation (Genesis 1:24-31) God made the animals and man. He made the cattle, creeping things and beasts of the earth. He created man in his own image, male and female. He told man to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and He gave man dominion over all the living things.

The sixth covenant, the Palestinian Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-20) was the fulfillment of Israel possessing their promised land. If they obeyed God, they would be blessed but if they rebelled against God they would be removed from their land. He promised them one day they would be returned to their land. In 1948 Israel became a nation with their own borders.

The sixth edition of Divine law was writing the laws on man's heart (Hebrews 8:10). The disciples received the Holy Spirit to carry on the movement of the church age (Acts 2). The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was for our grace and salvation. Man has to make the choice of following Jesus Christ or lose out on the most wonderful gift ever given to the human race - eternal life (John 11:25, Romans 6:14-23). As the cripple in Acts 3:8 stood up leaping and walking, let's be leaping toward heaven. Isaiah 40:31 says we who wait on God shall have renewed strength, shall mount up with wings as eagles, shall run and not be weary, shall walk and not faint. John 10:28-29 reassures eternal life for His true followers and nothing will take them away from Him. The sixth millennium represents man being made in God's likeness when our bodies are renewed in the twinkling of an eye. This will happen when we are caught up to meet Him in the clouds. Our bodies will be as His glorious body (1 Corinthians 15:52, Philippians 3:21).

The sixth world government (end time) will be the one world government. The ten toes represent the ten nations that become united in the end times (Daniel 2:41-42) This has been man's dream for many years. When George Bush was president, he supported the one world government. Many times he spoke about the new world order. The US has been supporting this plan since it became a nation. The new world order will certainly be the government of iron and clay. The iron represents strength and the clay represents weakness. Clay is used as a mold for iron. The Bible clearly states in Daniel 2:43 the iron and clay will never mix. The plans have been laid out for many years working toward the goal of a one world government. The ten toes represent the final ten nations of the one world government. The sixth of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost (John 19:30).

The sixth church (1750 AD) of the seven churches was Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13). Revelation 3:7-8 says: ...These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. He told them because they had kept the word of His patience they would be kept from the hour of temptation which the whole world will experience (Revelation 3:10). He told them if they overcame they would be a pillar in the temple of His God (Revelation 3:12).

Chapter Seven
Number Seven

Revelation 7:3 says: Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. The 144,000 servants of God are sealed. This number represents 12,000 people from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Verses 9-17 tell of an innumerable gathering of people in heaven. They are from all the nations on earth, all nationalities and all languages. They are standing before the throne clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands. They are in heaven with Jesus Christ.

Zayin is the seventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of seven equals seven. The definition for Zayin is: spirit; sustenance and struggle; focal point; center of peace (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 133).

On the seventh day of creation (Genesis 2:1-3) God ended his work of the previous six days. He blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because in it he rested from all his work.

The seventh covenant, the Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7:10-16) was God's promise to Israel that He would someday come and rule from the throne of David. He would come as the Messiah and fulfill this covenant. He will come and rule Israel ending war and establishing peace on the earth. This will be the millennial reign in Revelation 20. Satan will be thrown into the bottomless pit so he won't deceive the nations during the millennial reign (Revelation 20:2-3).

The seventh edition of Divine law was the outward Christian life (2 Corinthians 2, 2 Timothy 2, Titus 3). Christ will reign from David's throne and rule Israel with a firm, loving and peaceful government. This will be Israel's chance to show a willingness to follow their God and establish His will in their hearts. They will have peace that will last forever and safety that will be undisputed. John 14:27 gives us all confidence in His care knowing we will have His peace. Revelation 1:18 gives us the confidence to persevere because Christ is in control of EVERYTHING!

The seventh millennium represents the separation of good and evil. The Kingdom Age will be a time of peace and tranquility. Israel and the world will be under the rule of Christ learning obedience. The church will be in heaven.

The seventh world government will be the Messianic Kingdom cut without hands (Daniel 2:44-45). It represents the millennial reign of Jesus Christ on earth for one thousand years. The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. His kingdom will last forever. The Jews will be safe at last.

Webster's Dictionary defines the following terms as:

stone: a concretian of earthly or mineral matter, rock, a piece of rock for a specified function

cut: to penetrate with or as if with an edged instrument

messianic: of or relating to a messiah

kingdom: the eternal kingship of God

The seventh of the seven sayings while Jesus was hanging on the cross was: And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost (Luke 23:46).

The seventh church (1900 AD) of the seven churches was Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22). God knew their works. He said they were lukewarm. They were not practicing Christianity and they were not helping spread the good news of Jesus Christ. In Revelation 3:17-21 He said: Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. The Laodicean people don't care about God because they have material possessions they put before any other necessities. They lack happiness, love, peace of mind, knowledge of God and most of all a personal relationship with their heavenly Father.

Chapter Eight
Number Eight

Revelation 8:1 says: And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. This chapter starts with a scene in heaven then the attention focuses on earth and the great tribulation continues through to chapter 19 when Jesus comes down on the white horse with all the armies of heaven with Him. He stops all the violence and gives Israel one last chance to be His precious, peculiar people (Jeremiah 30:7, Ezekiel 36:24, Ezekiel 37:14, Romans 11:26).

Chet is the eighth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew the gematria of eight equals eight. The definition for Chet is: on a plane above nature; ability to transcend the limitations of physical existence. Chet is known to be the number of new beginning (J. R. Church & Gary Stearman, The Mystery of the Menorah...and the Hebrew Alphabet, p 135).

The eighth covenant, The New Covenant (Hebrews 8:7-12) is the covenant for the new beginning. This is the last of the covenants God gave to man. This covenant will be fully established after the millennial reign. God has promised to every believer to be merciful to their unrighteousness and He will never again remember their sins and iniquities. He will put His laws into their minds and write these laws in their hearts. He has promised to be their God and they will be His special, chosen people. Hebrews 8:13 says the old covenant is decayed and has vanished.

The eighth edition of Divine law will be a peaceful rule under Jesus. He will be our God and we will be His sons (Revelation 21:7). Verses 8-27 describe the beautiful opulence and peaceful environment. Chapter 21:4-5 says everything sinful and negative is gone from our lives. God will make everything new. Our environment will be perfect. We will be perfect and free from earthly sorrow and pain. Chapter 22 explains we will have God's light to light the universe because there will be no need for the sun or even a candle to burn for light. We will see this light when our bodies are changed to be like His glorious body. Verse 4 says we will see His face. His name will be written in our foreheads. Verse 6 says this writing is faithful and true. Revelation 19:11 say the rider on the white horse is called Faithful and True. Our God is awesome which should make us want to follow Him and never waver from the path He leads us throughout our life. He will come and meet us in the clouds very soon.

The eighth millennium represents a new beginning of a recreated earth and heaven. The eighth millennium begins with us seeing the earth and heavens recreated. How awesome it will be to witness this event. Revelation 21:1 says the first heaven and earth were passed away. Verse 5 says, ABehold, I make all things new.@

The eighth government will be sinless and perfect. We will live with Christ forever in our new world ruled by Him (Revelation 21-22).

Ezekiel 43:25-26 says Israel will spend seven days sacrificing followed by seven days to purge and purify the altar then they will consecrate themselves to God. Ezekiel 43:27 says: And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.
