Romans 1:19-20 AMP

19 For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. 20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). SELF-EXALTATION

Many people believe that there is no set standard for morals. They think they can set their own right and wrong, and that there are no absolutes. Therefore, perfection can be obtained by following their own standard of morals. Since God is perfect and they think they have obtained perfection, many believe this makes them "little gods." This is the teaching of the universal mind groups. You can find more basic information on this concept by looking at the universal mind books. The best advice is to stay completely away from this type of literature because of its association with Satanic power. We need to be aware of what the Bible says regarding self-glory.
